Standing Together

In recent weeks, tens of thousands of people have demonstrated across Israel to demand a ceasefire and hostage-release agreement. On 28 November, Standing Together called a protest in Tel Aviv which mobilised thousands. Mass anti-government protests led by families of hostages have also continued, with Standing Together’s Purple Bloc intervening with clear anti-occupation messages. Standing Together has also initiated a bus stop ad campaign to bring the realities of the war on Gaza, hidden and ignored by most of Israel’s mainstream media, before the Israeli public.

Here, UK Friends of Standing Together branches across the country continue their activity against war and occupation, in support of Standing Together’s fight for peace and equality. Several local branches are holding vigils, starting with: Sheffield on December 12th; Bristol on the 14th; Cambridge, Notts and London all on the 15th. Details of these and other Standing Together events here.
